Anna Boadwee joined Veterans Education Success in August 2021. She received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where she earned the Exceptional Pro Bono Pledge Recognition and was an Executive Editor for the Georgetown Journal of International Law.
During law school, Boadwee worked at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, where she assisted with appeals from the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. She also served as a Steiger Fellow in the National Association of Attorneys General’s consumer protection division.
Prior to law school, Boadwee was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Malawi, Africa, where she co-facilitated healthy living workshops for HIV support groups in remote areas and advised students on applications to educational and career development programs. Boadwee graduated summa cum laude from the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs and, while in college, was a Council of American Ambassadors Fellow at the U.S. Department of State.
In her free time, she enjoys choral singing, playing trumpet, and long walks around Washington, DC’s Mount Pleasant neighborhood.
