After the bill passed, advocates waited anxiously to see what President Trump might do. One veterans’ group even ran an ad on Fox News urging the president to sign the law. Thirty-four military and veteran service organizations supported the effort to overturn the new regulation, due to the for-profit college industry’s history of predatory recruiting of veteran students.
