Following President Trump’s veto, veterans’ organizations and consumer groups voiced their disappointment. Veterans Education Success said in a tweet that they were “heartbroken” over the President’s veto, noting that the action went against the recommendations of three dozen veterans’ rights organizations. The American Legion had released a statement prior to the veto “imploring” the President to sign the bill.
