A Veterans Education Success report found that few states acted proactively to protect veterans and in many cases the Veterans Affairs Department took no action to support those ones that did so. In another report, the group also found that the VA is still not enforcing the 1974 ban on schools that engage in deceptive advertising and recruiting.
