Despite the severity of the issue, VA has continued to keep the GI Bill hotline offline, making it impossible for student veterans, survivors, and schools to get answers or resolve the problem. Veterans Education Success is calling on VA to immediately reopen the hotline as an essential service and to resolve IT failures so that GI Bill payments resume without further harm to veterans and surviving families. The organization continues to elevate this issue in press interviews and public statements, warning that each day of delay deepens the financial and emotional harm to those who have already sacrificed for the country.
