HOUSE VOTE DELAYING THE TAKE CARE OF AMERICA’S VETERANS ACT

“Today’s failure to pass the Take Care of America’s Veterans Act is the result of a partisan bill developed behind closed doors being met with resounding opposition from America’s veterans. We appreciate Reps. Max Miller, Anna Paulina Luna, and Jefferson Van Drew for listening to their constituents and voting to send the bill back to committee. Congress should now restart the process on a bipartisan basis, remove provisions that weaken GI Bill safeguards, and restore benefits to veterans harmed by predatory schools.”
